NGSAMD XTX Talks
With the evolution of the NGSAMD to a true multidisciplinary organization, we are pleased to offer XTX, or Cross-Treatment Talks. XTX Talks are the NGSAMD’s treatment planning style seminars in which we discuss interdisciplinary case presentations.
XTX Talks are conducted in two ways—twice a year at our in-person Scientific Sessions and virtually over Zoom. Each XTX Talk has a new panel and a new set of treatments to be discussed. These Talks are intended to reflect the current trend of cross-discipline education and team dentistry. Patient treatments are presented and a designated panel made up of various specialists, general practitioners and laboratory technicians are invited to collaborate on how they would treatment plan and execute the cases. The audience will garner insight into how highly skilled and knowledgeable dentists approach complex, multidisciplinary treatments. After the case has been discussed by the panel, we encourage audience participation.
The objective of the XTX Talks is the same as that of the NGSAMD as a whole: high-quality, educational content in a supportive and collaborative environment.
In-person XTX Talks are a part of our biannual in-person meetings and are available to all meeting attendees. The virtual XTX Talks are available to members only.
The NGSAMD is always looking for participants for our XTX Talks. If you are interested in being on a panel, please reach out to amt.ngs1@gmail.com.
